Web 2.0 Sites

I like all of the widget sites, because I like widgets. There are a couple really fun ones, like the radio and the snowglobe on Yourminis. Anyway, yeah, these are fun, but there aren't a lot that are useful, most are just silly or fun. Or both. I could see myself using these for a little while for a time, but eventually stopping, because I would be done with them. It's hard to see these really being useful for a library, but if someone came out with a Useful-for-a-library widget, well then maybe.

Web-Based Productivity Applications

WOW! I like these. I have to say, I never knew these existed, and they rock. This is an amazing tool for schools, because at our school, flash drives are blocked by our systems admin, because people were bringing games on them (who would do that ;P) This has caused lots of problems, because we need to use them with our senior projects on them. However, with this, we wouldn't need them at all. I am totally weirded out that I never knew about these sooner, and I am telling everyone at school about them on Monday. Oh, as far as a document for everyone to see, I am not going to publish one, however I DID get a shoutbox working off of zoho on the left of my blog where people can chat with each other. If you want, you can see my exhilirating chat with myself. Anyway, long story short, I like this.
